New Security Policies added to our Hosting cPanel - Protect Your Account

We have added and activated new Security Policies for our Hosting cPanel users in order to further protect your account. The next time you log into your Hosting cPanel you will be asked to set Security Questions, if there is a login to your account from an unrecognized IP Address (or network) it will not allow the login without first answering those Security Questions. We recommend you log into your Hosting cPanel as soon as you have time to set your Security Questions, if you have not already. You can modify or reset your Security Questions by selecting "Security Policies" from your Hosting cPanel.

We have also increased the minimum password strength required across your Hosting account and activated a Security Policy which will prompt you to change your password if it is not met- if you are asked to change your password upon login to your Hosting cPanel or Webmail it will explain that it is because the password strength is too low and therefore easily brute-forced by common dictionary attacks. Even though we utilize the top Security systems available and brute-force attempts do not get off more than a few attempts, it is still a good idea to maintain strong passwords which vastly increase your account security and therefore your Website and Emails.

If you have any questions do not hesitate to open a support ticket or contact us. You can find an article below on getting into your Hosting cPanel if needed, our Knowledgebase will also soon contain articles in relation to the new Security Policies mentioned above as we competely re-do and re-vamp our KB articles in the next two weeks. As always have a fantastic weekend!
